Not Neocon or Republican, not "liberal" or Democrat, I like to say "progressive" and independent, which really means: I think for myself. My goal is to vanquish Neocons from this Land near and far -- and make the sheep(ish) wake up, get angry, protest and act!
Aw come on . . . it shouldn't be that hard! Heather™

Judge Alito media distortion

I saw today the media make some big deal out of groups that oppose Alito. This is all a bogus blown out of porportion media semi invented story. What the media failed to tell you about these five or six groups who yesterday opposed  Judge Alito is that these groups also opposed now Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts. Why did they not mention these groups when the Roberts nominee was up? Well I will tell you why,the media is reaching here plain and simple.Roberts was first up and there was probably a little more press speculation on him and interest from the public just because he was first. Now the story of Supreme Court nominees is overplayed (by the media) and they are stretching for a story. They will try to do anything and do anything for ratings and market share and I find it sickening. No wonder nobody watches those Hardballs and shows like that.
